SRCINFO je tedensko glasilo Studentskih informacijskih centrov SRCe, ki
predstavlja razlicne informacije s podrocja studija in stipendiranja v
tujini
in R Sloveniji. Informacije so prvenstveno namenjene studentom in
profesorjem
ter vsem ostalim, ki so zainteresirani za do- in podiplomski studij ali
kaksno
drugo obliko izobrazevanja.
Vsakogar od prejemnikov tega glasila, kakor tudi druge, ki bi zeleli

ICGEB PROGRAM POSTDOKTORSKIH STIPENDIJ V LABORATORIJIH V TRSTU IN V NEW
DELHIJU
Mednarodni center za genetski inzeniring in biotehnologijo (International
Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology ICGEB) objavlja program
postdoktorskih stipendij, ki so namenjene dolgorocnemu izobrazevanju s
podrocij genetskega inzeniringa in biotehnologije, za spodbujanje tako
temeljnih kot tudi industrijskih raziskav. Za stipendije lahko kandidirajo
raziskovalci iz drzav clanic ICGEB z nedavno opravljenim doktoratom ter
najmanj 3 leti raziskovalnih izkusenj, v starosti do 35 let. Kandidatur,
ki ne ustrezajo gornjim pogojem ali ki so bile v preteklosti ze zavrnjene,
izbirna komisija ne bo obravnavala. Center dodeljuje stipendije za eno
leto, s tem, da je mozno se enoletno podaljsanje. Raziskovalno delo lahko
zadeva podrocja zdravja, prehrane, industrijskega razvoja, varstva okolja
in proizvodnje energije, potekalo pa bo v ICGEB laboratorijih v Trstu in v
New Delhiju. Center krije sprejetim kandidatom tudi mednarodne potne
stroske in stroske zdravstvenega zavarovanja, visina letne stipendije je
odvisna od kraja, kjer se koristi, in znasa od 13.000.- USD do 21.000.-USD.
Kandidature je potrebno predloziti v soglasju z nacionalnim znanstvenim
koordinatorjem za ICGEB, v Sloveniji funkcijo opravlja prof.dr. Radovan
Komel na Medicinski fakulteti, Institut za biokemijo, ter jih dopolniti z
najmanj tremi priporocili.

ICTP IZOBRAZEVALNI PROGRAM MEDNARODNEGA CENTRA ZA TEORETSKO FIZIKO ABDUS
SALAM V TRSTU ZA LETO 2001
Mednarodni center za teoretsko fiziko Abdus Salam iz Miramara pri Trstu
objavlja naslednje moznosti za izobrazevanje v letu 2001:
Pet podoktorskih mest v skupini za fiziko visoke energije za akademsko
leto 2001-2002 (specificna odprta podrocja so:
Topological Field Theories; String Theory, D-branes and Quantum Gravity;
Neutrino Physics and Astrophysics, Phenomenology of Supersymmetry and
GUT's Flavour Physics).
Na razpis se lahko prijavijo znanstveniki, ki so pridobili doktorat
po letu 1996 in niso stari vec kot 35 let. Delo na ICTP poteka v
sodelovanju z Mednarodno podiplomsko solo SISSA, Oddelkom za teoretsko
fiziko Univerze v Trstu in z Institutom za fiziko.
Prijavni rok je odprt do 31. decembra 2000, s sprejetimi kandidati sklene
ICTP center pogodbo za eno leto, ki pa jo je mogoce podaljati se za eno
leto.
Tretji program s podrocja nevrofizike (Third Antonio Borsellino College
on Neurophysics Evolution of Intelligent Behaviour), od 23. aprila do
4. maja 2001 na sedezu ICTP v Miramaru, v sodelovanju z Mednarodno
podiplomsko solo SISSA. Program bo potekal v angleskem jeziku, solnine ni.
Manjsemu stevilu kandidatov bo ICTP center dodelil stipendije za
kritje stroskov bivanja v Trstu.
Rok za prijave, ki vkljucujejo tudi prosnjo za financno pomoc, je
31. december 2000, sicer je kandidature za udelezbo mogoce prijaviti do
31. januarja 2001.

IMFT je eden od velikih institutov, ki se ukvarja z raziskavami mehanik

General Information
The Oslo School of Architecture is an autonomous university college, with
350 students and 50 academic staff, awarding degrees within Architecture,
Industrial and Urban Design.
The Oslo School of Architecture has 11 Subject Areas that are divided into
4 departments; The Department of Architectural Design, The Department of
Urban Design, The Department of Form, Technology and History and the
Department of Industrial Design.
Master's Degree Programme offered:
Master of Arts in Urbanism
Objective: The aim of the programme is to cover the need for post-
graduate studies within the field of urbanism, and at the
same time give the students formal academic skills.
Duration: Two years, part-time, 20 credits (60 ECTS)
Language: English
Admission criteria: Applicants should both have completed 5 years of
training in Architecture (BA or Master), and in addition have valid
professional experience. Candidates with other professional academic
background may enter the course if they can substantiate sufficient
knowledge within Urbanism or Urban Planning.

UTRECT SCHOOL OF THE ARTS: MASTER DEGREE ART AND MEDIA MANAGEMENT IN AN
EUROPEAN CONTEXT
Characteristic of the MA AMMEC is:
- A fulltime, English spoken programme of 12 months, focused on European
Cultural Entrepreneurship.
- An educational structure based on six modules: European Cultures and
Projects, Strategic Management, Management functions, Internship Management
and Creativity, Thesis and Case Study Presentation.
- A learning method based on the concept of the Learning Organization.
- A Programme Team experienced in research, committed to education and
practice.
- A MA validated programme by the Open University, London.

Europe in the third Millennium....
The MA degree Master of Art and Media Management in a European Context (MA
AMMEC) focuses on students from all corners of the earth who have an
ambition to pursue an organisational or policy-related career with a
cultural and European dimension. Europe in the third millennium will
increasingly be confronted with a culture without borders. International
festivals, cultural capitals of the European Union (EU), cultural networks,
European exchange programmes. Together with a growing culture tourism this
will all need qualified and well-trained art and media managers.
This international, English spoken course prepares students for these
cultural managerial positions at European level.
This unique academic course has been designed within the Utrecht School of
the Arts (HKU) and builds on its extensive international experience.
The programme course is validated by the London Open University and started
for the first time in September 1999.
International experiences
The Utrecht School of Arts started its arts and media management programmes
for undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate students more than 10 years
ago. These programmes or parts of these programmes are increasingly being
offered in the main cities of Europe such as Berlin, St Petersburg, Kiev,
Zagreb, Krakow, Talinn and Prague. A special international MA-seminar is
held each year in co-operation with the New York University and with the
support of the Medien Institut of the Hans Eisler Academy in Berlin.
Intensive contacts are established with professors and teachers from the
University of California, Los Angelos (USA) and the Witwatersrand
University in Johannesburg, South-Africa.
The Utrecht School of the Arts is an active member of several European
Networks in the field of the Arts.
Learning processes
The programme is based on the concept of the learning organisation. The
core issue of this concept is sharing learning experiences about new
knowledge. In modern society knowledge has to be renewed permanently.
Students on the MA AMMEC programme are stimulated to develop their
competencies in a changing world. In this educational framework attention
will be paid to supervision, action learning, action research and feedback.
Digital options such as on line learning during the internship and
teleconferencing with colleague-institutes will play an important role.
Each student has to prepare a (digital) learning logbook.

2001 INTERNATIONAL STUDENT SYMPOSIUM ON NEGOTIATION AND
CONFLICT RESOLUTION IN THE NETHERLANDS
The Institute for International Mediation and Conflict Resolution (IIMCR)
introduces the 2001 International Student Symposium on Negotiation and
Conflict Resolution in The Netherlands, July 21st - August 18th, 2001.
IIMCR invites members of AIESEC, students and young professionals, to apply
to the four-week International Student Symposium on Negotiation and Conflict
Resolution.
IIMCR believes that young people can play an important role in undertaking
actions to establish peace and security in their communities, countries and
in the world. We are the only organization specifically dedicated to the
training of students and young professionals. While we believe that young
people are uniquely positioned to learn and utilize the principles of
conflict resolution, our experience also teaches that they frequently lack
the basic analytical frameworks and substantive knowledge necessary to
understand, analyze and manage conflict.
IIMCR has developed an interdisciplinary course grounded in theory,
substance and hands-on simulation. The course draws heavily from the tools
of practice as taught by scholars and trainers and on the real-world
experiences of practitioners. Symposium students interact with a renowned
faculty in the form of lectures, training exercises and simulations. The
faculty is composed of scholars, negotiation and mediation experts, current
and former diplomats and conflict resolution specialists. Many of these
individuals have participated in resolving some of the world's most
intransigent conflicts.
Our target groups in staging the symposium are young people with sufficient
academic backgrounds and relevant experience who demonstrate a strong
motivation to be educated in conflict resolution and prevention.
The objectives of the symposium are to offer participants the following
opportunities:
1) to understand the phenomenon of deadly conflict and to examine the
resources that exist to undertake action against it in all levels of
society.
2) to develop understandings of ways and skills to prevent or confront
conflict.
3) to bridge the gap between theory and practice.
4) to learn about other views and cultures from peers and guests.
5) a forum for career guidance as well as an opportunity to network with
others who share common ground.
6) encouragement and assistance in putting the skills learned into practice.
7) to promote the spread of these activities in the participants' home
environments.
8) to develop an international network of young conflict management
professionals and volunteers.
The International Student Symposium on Negotiation and Conflict Resolution
takes place in an environment where participants from around the world will
meet, study with and get to know each other. This is an opportunity for
AIESEC members to form lasting friendships and have experiences that may
shape their lives.

JAVNI ANONIMNI NATECAJ ZA AVTORSKA DELA Z GLASBENEGA
(instrumentalno/vokalno/scensko delo) IN LITERARNEGA PODROCJA
(dramsko/pesniko/prozno delo)
Dela morajo biti doslej neizvajana in neobjavljena, ob izvedbi naj bi
trajala od 20 do 40 minut. Oddana morajo biti v obliki partiture ali
pisanega besedila v 3 (treh) izvodih brez imena avtorja ali
sifre. Avtorstvo bo posiljatelj izkazal s cetrtim izvodom. Avtorji bodo
obvesceni o rezultatih natecaja 25. julija 2001 v Uradnem listu Republike
Slovenije, Delu in na spletnih straneh Ministrstva za kulturo.
NAMEN NATECAJA je spodbujanje umetnike ustvarjalnosti v slovenskem
kulturnem prostoru, zato se natecaja lahko udelezijo ne le drzavljani
Republike Slovenije, ampak tudi vsi tujci slovenskega porekla. Izbira
tematike je svobodna.
POGOJI NATECAJA
Nagrajeni avtor dovoljuje, da bo delo krstno izvedeno ob slovenskem
kulturnem prazniku 2002 oziroma 2003. Vse materialne avtorske pravice
prenese narocniku za dobo dveh let. Se posebej dovoli prvo izvedbo dela in
dovoljuje prenos teh pravic za omenjeno obdobje in nadaljnji prenos, o
cemer bo sklenjena posebna pogodba.
Z oddajo dela avtor pristane na pogoje razpisa.
ZIRIJA
O nagrajencih odloca na podlagi kvalitete del zirija v sestavi: Meta
Hocevar, predsednica, dr. Matja Barbo, Ales Berger, Tomaz Lorenz, Miroslav
Kosuta, Tone Pavcek, Ivo Petric, clani.
NAGRADE
Najboljsa dela bodo nagrajena. Prva nagrada je 3.000.000 tolarjev, druga
nagrada 2.500.000, tretja 1.000.000 tolarjev. Razen nagrad pa bo zirija
povrnila stroske se najvec sestim nenagrajenim avtorjem. Glede na
kvaliteto prispelih del lahko zirija podeli vec prvih, drugih ali tretjih
nagrad ali nobene.
PREDLOZITEV DEL
Zirija bo upostevala pri izbiri samo dela, ki bodo prispela na
naslov: Ministrstva za kulturo - Presernov sklad, Cankarjeva 5, Ljubljana
najkasneje do 15. junija 2001 do 13. ure. Prepozno predlozena dela ne bodo
upostevana.
Dela morajo biti v zaprti ovojnici, in sicer: v desnem spodnjem delu mora
biti naveden naslov narocnika, v levem spodnjem kotu navedba natecaja, na
katerega se delo nanasa, z oznacbo "ne odpiraj - natecaj za avtorska dela
z glasbenega in literarnega podrocja".
