General requirements

To enter an M. A. programme, the student is required to have a university degree in humanities or social studies. To enter a Ph. D. programme, the student is required to have a suitable M. A. degree. Applicants with different backgrounds will be assessed on an individual basis by the School Senate.

For an M. A. degree, the duration of studies is regularly two years, in which the student must fulfill the obligations of six modules of his/her choice.

For a Ph. D. degree, the duration of studies is regularly four years, in which the student must fulfill the obligations of eight modules of his/her choice.

For the academic year 1996/97, the deadline to register was October 15, 1996. The courses started on October 21, 1996, and will end on June 20, 1997.
